GENERATORS

The key word for Generators is Response. This 70% of the human population has a life force embedded in their Sacral Center, appearing as a juicy red square in the lower middle of the BodyGraph.

This is the strongest and deepest chemical hub, so it won’t matter what else is going on in the Chart, this being is a Generator and Generators approach their destiny by honoring their Sacral Response.

The energy field of a Generator is receptive and enveloping so life stimuli are beaming towards you sparking responses, which you feel in your body as a lurching sensation affirming or denying that a particular stimulus is part of your destiny. In the case when you honor that response, and only engage following a yes, the Generator process rides and regenerates tremendous vitality - like no other type. Just don’t let your expectations and judgements prevent you from honoring the response.

Is whatever you are engaged with alive and satisfying for you? Did it arrive in your life and get a yes from your gut? If not, find a way to begin to wait and it won’t be long before another more correct opportunity enters your field.

By definition you can not know ahead of time what your destiny is since it is coming to you. Your response could be to anything, but your cycle of action and satisfaction will be similar.

MANIFESTORS

In the Human Design there are two types of people who refresh their chemistry through action: Generators, who make up 67% of the population, and Manifestors – 9 or 10%. Generators have a defined Sacral Center, and Manifestors have a defined Motor to the Throat. There is a dramatic contrast in correct deployment between these two aura shapes. Generators have an open and magnetic aura, and their destiny will arrive in their lives. Manifestors have a knifelike aura designed to slice through reality in a forward motion to achieve destiny.

I am also a Manifestor, and I have noticed that the social default communication method, which works decently for Generators, is extremely grating to us. Generators communicate well by inserting questions and ideas into each other’s open auras. Instead, We Manifestors are designed to initiate action from within ourselves, not in response to external stimuli. Our chemistry has power from out of the blue that needs to be discharged, and it can have a tremendous impact on others.

When you fail to inform other people about what seems to be happening with you, they have no choice but to suffer the impact. Eventually the people in your life learn that you are a loose cannon and attempt to limit your power - that or you curb it yourself so as to fit in better. Either way your motion towards destiny is impeded and you begin to suffer anger. This is the trap.

The way of the Manifestor is to inform others before you move, building trust with them and giving them a chance to be a part of the action or not.

Ultimately, the way is also to be informed by others, rather than stimulated. This allows you to maintain the forward slicing shape of your aura in your relating processes, bringing you to a sense of deep peace knowing that you can take the action you need to take when you need to take it.

PROJECTORS

Projectors have evolved beyond the vast majority of humanity who enjoy their chemistry by doing. Therefore, when you look at the beings who stay engaged with material and action as though it were natural, you look as an alien soul.

And being free from the need to do, you are a seer, watching, observing the potent vitality of life stream around you. And you see how it could be guided, improved, informed. The technical description for this non-doingness is “no motor to the throat.”

If you go ahead and impress your seeings on others, the unpaved energy path from your awareness to its expression will garble the message, and it will land like a garbage bomb for the person you intend. This lack of recognition despite the validity of your seeing lands you in an experience of bitterness. The Human Design offers a stance you can take towards life which allows you to slip out of the false and disturbing “normal” and claim the chance to be recognized as a guide to soulful and satisfying life.
